Excellent central location, just a short walk to attractions like Marienplatz. Breakfast offered a fantastic variety, including freshly made omelets, and the large, clean rooms were very comfortable. However, soundproofing was inadequate, leading to disturbances from guests and the kitchen below, particularly in rooms on the second floor. Unfortunately, some rooms face a kitchen's exhaust fans, which can produce unpleasant odors when the windows are open.

The Platzl Hotel features elegant decor with high ceilings, providing a spacious atmosphere that made my stay comfortable and welcoming. The accessibility was excellent, with ramps available at every entry, which I greatly appreciated as a senior.

Furthermore, dining at the Ayinger am Platzl restaurant made for a delightful evening, with authentic Bavarian dishes and attentive service. The hotel's central location provided easy access to key sights in Munich, such as Marienplatz.
